ORIGIN
The basis for the name INCENDIOS refers to my father, whose DJ and Entertainment name was TORCH, and to my name which means in Arabic, Anwar , which is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “illuminated”, “radiant”, “most enlightened”, “best lit”, “clearest”, “most eloquent”. So you have a Torch and Lights, being referred to, and both of these terms are associated with FIRE, or INCENDIOS in the Spanish Language. In my early teens, I was exposed to Latin Music, especially the SALSA music that was coming out of Puerto Rico and Cuba. The Group most famous in this Genre was THE FANIA ALL-STARS, based in New York(Nueva York). All of the Musicians were Excellent, Top-Notch, Best Talented. They included the Queen of Salsa CELIA CRUZ, El Cantante HECTOR LAVOE, Maestro JOHNNY PACHECO, Pianist LARRY HARLOW, Pianist RICARDO RAY and his Singing Partner BOBBY CRUZ, Percussionist RAY BARRETTO, Bandleader WILLIE COLON, Guitarist YOMO TORO, Vocalists ISMAEL MIRANDA, PETE “CONDE” RODRIGUEZ, and RUBEN BLADES, and many others. I would refer to myself as “Carlos Ramon Incendios” as a prospective Latin Music singer. IN 2020, INCENDIOS has shown signs of emerging with the successful International Tour in Mexico in the cities of San Jose Del Cabo and Cancun. In San Jose, on the night of my arrival I met the beautiful singer(Cantante) PATRISHA SILVA, who was performing on a nightly basis across the street from my Resort CABO AZUL. I struck up a conversation with Patrisha, and the very next night, I was singing cover songs right along with her. One night I was on stage for over an hour. During the 10 days or so that I was with her, I met other talented singers and musicians, whom I knew I wanted to collaborate with on my Latin Music projects. Patrisha also told me that she LOVED hearing me speak Spanish. Watch for PATRISHA SILVA and some of her Associates being showcased under the INCENDIOS banner. In Cancun, I met another young beautiful Mexican lady KARLY, who gave me a Dance Lesson, and treated me to a game of Texas Hold ‘Em. After our lesson, I let Karly hear the rough draft of my latest composed song, entitled “By The Time I Get To MEXICO”. During that eight-minute experience seeing her expressions as she listened to the song, with me singing in Spanish, Karly appeared to be Spellbound. This song, referred to as “Mexico” by the Geechee Lion inner circle, is a very special song to me, as it marks the end of a personal and musical chapter occurring in 2020. When the song is “finished” to my satisfaction, I promised Karly that she would be the first to get a copy.
