PASSPORT BROTHERS BIO

The beginnings of what would become the basis for the Musical Identity known as the PASSPORT BROTHERS came with Anwar Kinté’s First travel outside of the United States of America in late November of 2017. Anwar had obtained his US Passport in 2009, but had not used it within that 8 years.

He wanted to make use of the Passport, and Mexico was determined to be the best destination for a first-time trip. It was to be a trip to made alone, as his marriage, lengthy in terms of years, was within two months of ending. The trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, was intended to be a relaxing Getaway from the many stresses of the Job (also known as the Hamster Wheel), the marriage, dealing with finances, and just navigating and surviving the American Battlefield as a Black Man in the Hells of America. Anwar was convinced that an international trip would offer opportunities for discovering a different culture and frankly, for meeting a different type of Woman in a social setting. He considered this as a BUCKET LIST TRIP, which would turn out to be the First of several to Mexico, Arizona, New Mexico, etc. Anwar was blessed to meet and befriend a beautiful Asian(Chinese) woman who appropriately was named CHI(as in Chi Lion Soul). The two of us hit it off very well from the start, as we were blessed with sharing our interests/passions for Travel, Health & Wellness and Photography. I consider Ms. Chi to be a talented experienced Practitioner in these fields. Ms. Chi was there as I came up with the name of my Business Organization, GEECHEE LION.Through our several meetings, we soon got to see and know each other as friendly, creative people. Both of us are artists in some respects.

After over 40 years on the Hamster Wheel, doing time in several Prisons(Spiritual, Mental, Emotional, Occupational), and nearly 100% Rejection by Women during the confinement in America’s Hell, Anwar has officially declared Himself to be a PASSPORT BROTHER, in Solidarity with the New “Church”, the New Movement with is rising in popularity with the American Black Man, who is tired of the Toxic, Racist and MISANDRIC oppression being perpetrated by areas of Government, Corporate Amerikkka, and sadly and unfortunately, most of the American Women, who have shown themselves to be Bad Options for Marriage, Romance and Dating for a growing segment of the Black Male population. The Genesis of Creation of the Music produced under this banner came into conception with the influence of Anwar’s Travels, Trials, Tribulations, Pandemics, and Pandemoniums. 

I want to showcase some Original Songs under the moniker/Musical Artists Entity/Identity, which I have appropriately called PASSPORT BROTHERS. The first Single is from the EPIC and HISTORIC Musical Collection to be Entitled THE MINISTRY. THE MINISTRY was inspired and based upon Anwar’s “In Real Life” Long Distance Conversation/Interaction with a Beautiful, Sweet, Filipina whose Identity will be revealed in Due Time with the Completed Release of the MINISTRY. 

This Collection is a fitting Culmination of the creative explosion that will become more evident and DYNAMIC in 2023 with the Introduction of The MINISTRY.
